Does PlatPhorm Finance provide investment advice?
No. Finance provides public informational data, source labels, and local simulations. It does not provide personalized investment advice or trading instructions.
Are watchlists and portfolios stored on the server?
Phase 1 watchlists and simulated portfolios are browser-local drafts only. They store non-sensitive symbols, quantities, and user-entered cost basis values.
Where does quote data come from?
Quote endpoints use public provider adapters when available and return unavailable or degraded states when a provider cannot be reached.
Does Finance execute trades or connect to brokerage accounts?
No. Finance never executes trades, never asks for brokerage credentials, and never claims brokerage connectivity.
What requires PLATPHORM_API_KEY?
Public-safe Phase 1 flows do not require a key. Future protected backend actions such as provider sync, private persistence, reporting, and administrative mutations are scaffolded to require PLATPHORM_API_KEY when enforcement is enabled.
